Zoran Svraka was born in 1981. After graduating from School of Fine Arts in Pula in 2000, he was enrolled in the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Ljubljana (Slovenia), major industrial design.
Under the guidance of professor Saša J. Maechtig, Zoran got familiar with the methodology of product development from basic idea to its realization. He confirmed his creativity in the international competition Urban Stone Design, in which his project on modular stone radiator named Qbrick took first place in 2004. The project was presented at the fair Salone del Mobile in Milan in 2004. The prize-winning project didn't remain unnoticed in Slovenia either, where Zoran won the Prešern prize for industrial design in 2005.
As a student he started cooperatin with Slovenian producers and marketing agencies, that enabled him to apply his knowledge on the market. The realization of Zoran's ideas was set in motion by the Agency for design and marketing Endemit, with which he cooperates even today.
In 2007 he founded the Agency for design and consulting named Svrakadesign, the basic activity of which is industrial product design. His way of working and thinking has been presented in detail in portfolio on the home page.
